If you’re looking for a family friendly classic breakfast spot while on vacay this is it. We tried several before we found Metro and it was by far the best. The banana pudding pancake was delicious. Classics like grits, eggs, and breakfast meats were done well too (something that’s not as easy to achieve as it may sound).
Kayla our server was the best, we asked for one order to be split between 2 diners...she actually brought 2 plates with half servings. The food was excellent, we had roasted turkey plate and chicken pot pie. The restaurant manager spoke to us as we were leaving and was very pleasant. Would recommend this cute little diner for a good meal, and great service.
This place was great! The croissant french toast & biscuits and gravy was my favorite! Our server was great as well I wish I remembered her name. They were pretty busy but we didn’t have to wait and food came out pretty quick!
The food here is so amazing! And Kayla was the sweetest waitress ever, she was so helpful and kind. I absolutely love this place and will be coming back. It was needed to feel welcome after visiting the state I grew up in. Kayla needs a raise!!!!!!!!
We had other options around but we wanted the diner food experience. This definitely did not disappoint. Service is prompt and friendly. Our order was taken within minutes of sitting, our server, Kayla, was so nice and even did a few modifications for my husband's order. Once we got our food, I noticed something was off and even my server noticed and took the plate back. I was presented with my original plate within minutes by the manager. I was so happy everything was exactly how I ordered it,fresh and perfectly cooked. We got stuffed and ready to tackle a fun filled day. I will definitely return to this place!
Known for their great breakfast. Metro is offering a menu of wonderful dishes for dinner. We tried fish and chips, Sheppard's Pie, and Chicken Pot Pie. Everything was excellent. I highly recommend trying dinner at Metro...you won't be sorry.
This was truly a great experience. The food was amazing, but we did come during rush hour. So the wait was about 20 minutes for 2 people. The server did forget to give us our bill so that we can pay, but overall, it was a really good experience.
We ordered the Bissell Platter for 4 (Family Breakfast) through Uber Eats, and it was excellent. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and everything came neatly and individually packaged. They send extra butter, jelly and ketchup with the order. Photo is what each person gets.
Everything was amazing. By far the biggest portions of breakfast I've ever had. The chicken and waffles came with 2 legs and 2 thighs! The shrimp and grits had a biscuit hidden in the plate. The server was great and the mimosa wasn't weak like most breakfast spots.
Ask for KAYLA as your waitress! What an absolutely fantastic waitress and experience we had as FIRST TIME GUESTS. Food was amazing, came out fresh and quick and she was so attentive and personable during our meal. Kayla’s suggestions were spot on she knows her menu options. The turkey and meat loaf were delicious along with the chicken. Prices were very reasonable too. Absolutely will be back again!
